As the old Aussey Driller said as he floated down the Mahakam River with the five drill rigs that were pulled off Busang, "Try not to tell the natives much about the situation, as it could only cause trouble" he said, "It could only give rise to tensions"....Wall Street Journal April 17, 1997.
"Things have basically shut down", says an Australian Drill Operator, "We can bring them (the drill rigs) back, but that assumes the gold is here" WSJ
Well, I guess things are shutting down at Busang. So much for the Indonesian Government's desire to get the project into production for the benefit of the Indonesian people as soon as possible. Apparently, the Indos and Freeport see no reason to the keep drills on the property. If Freeport was going to take over Bre-X or any of those other stupid rumours I have heard, wouldn't they keep the drills there. Or possibly, have replacement drills brought in....
Where are we on de Guzman now, he had four wifes that did not know about eachother, he mysteriously died(or disappeared) at a key point of Freeport's due diligence, articles say that he was fired for embezzlement from a previous job, often exagerated about gold discoveries, had a very strong technical background. Does this sound like a person that would be behind a conspiracy at Bre-X? You be the judge dudes, it is your money riding on Bre-X.
The Fat Lady is just warmin up dudes. Next info down the pipe will be de Guzman's autopsy results...... Let me guess...... we are probably going to be surprised again. (just a guess, I do not know anyone at the Philipine NBI)
