SILCF--mentioned it Wed. at 3 3/8. LINUX/Broadband play. Ariel ADSP, a leading supplier of Windows NT and Linux remote access solutions, roaring on news that its PCI-based RS4200 remote access card set has received worldwide certification for connection to international digital telephone networks. The significance is that ADSP is one of a very few offering linux based solutions for internet connectivity. Traders may be surprised to know that there is another small cap that offers linux connectivity- Silicom (SILCF) designs, manufactures, markets and supports a range of connectivity solutions for mobile and remote PC users. And like ADSP (according to a January release) SILCF offers Linux support for its full range of connectivity products including PC Ethernet and modem cards- "Silicom is Announcing Support for Linux Operating Systems Kfar-Sava, Israel, Jan. 27, 1999 --- Silicom Ltd. (NASDAQ: SILCF) today announced that the company has developed special software drivers to provide Linux operating system support for its PC Card products users. The new drivers will be released on the Silicom Web site by the end of January.
