Can anybody help me with this? Through a debt to equity conversion and serious cut to operating expenses (most notably the sales and marketing budget) Versant has staved off bankrupcy. The stock has had a nice bounce on these developments. Does anyone have a view as to how the Company is going to ramp up their sales after having chopped 100 people for their sales/marketing departments? Why does this Company trade at a P/S multiple that is more generous than that of ODIS when ODIS has a much larger sales base and could surely put themselves in a cash flow neutral position as Versent has done by a similar cut to operating expenses??
