I noted with interest today that the SPY has tried on seven consecutive days to pierce and finish above the 143 level. It is quite a remarkable picture to see the SPY bounce off that level so many times with the NASDAQ on fire and going up, up and away. I note also that the financials as represented by the XLF have been trending downwards the past week after apparently topping out. All this has happened while the bullishness in the market has been increasing.
