True Dog: I speak of what I see and what I know. From the comments I have seen here from many people and from what I know of christianity, your darknesss is obvious. It takes little experience to see that. My age has nothing to do with what is obvious. In return, if you live with blinders on, who are you to judge your blindness?
My credentials? Been there done that.
Everytime you argue for intollerance or bogotry (and I use the word correctly here), or to justify obvious attrosities, you show your blindness. Everytime you put yourself higher than the rest of us in the christians us against the world mentality, you show your intollerance. Everytime you talk about us being thrown into hell, you show your mind set that we deserve no respect. While you have the right to believe as you wish, you do not have the right to deny others their rights nor their respect. The problem is that most christians can't see that one simple point.
While I would fight to the death to preserve your right to believe and live as you choose, it has been my experiience that the majority of christains would not show me the same kindness.
As for christians taking the time to study other religions and choosing christ? Again I ask you what planet you have been living on? You MAY have taken that time, but the vast majority have not.
Lastly. To study other faiths for the purpose of appologetics is not study with an open mind. Again. Been there done that too. |
