Doug,

I don't know how or when the IVAX stock price will recover but I am confident it will, since I do not think this company is going to go to zero. However with the convert bonds one will get paid while you wait and the bond holders get paid first if the company does go under. It is my opinion that in the long run IVAX is going to be taken over by another company, be it BB or somebody else. When that happens the bonds, which are currently selling for about 83, will go to par. Of course you might make more profit in the common but the risk is also greater.

I bought some of the bonds this week at 83.
