Dear thread, regarding: ADSP

I would like to ask some questions from those who participated and those who didn't (and have the courage to get flamed/I hope there is more generosity and maturity on this thread than that/and that we can have a thoughtful duscussion) to explain some of your:

Motives and thought processes

because for some reason I am bothered by this whole thing.

What I am not bothered about strangely is "missing the move" which I thought might be my big motivating reason for this uneasy feeling I have inside.

I find I have followed some of your traders who I respect and admire "beating up" on some of the shorts in this stock. I found alot of gloating and other behaviors that disappointed me about these excelling traders in particular.

I also didn't get too many responses about trading this stock on my original question regarding is it all about getting in/hyping the stock/and running out before the dumbest traders enter?--and then leaving them to hold the bag? Is that all this stock is about? Is that why you played it? Then what is the satisfaction of that--just the money?

I have no problem with "money" or "greed" per se....I have always questioned those who have said they were not greedy like they were noble for 3 years now so I am no stranger in that category of thought. I don't personally know what greed is exactly. I have not found anyone who can explain the difference of greed and non-greed in making money on stocks.

And I think making great money is good.

But I got to thinking a bit about morality today. It seemed like the word that kept coming up with ADSP. And I thought I have never examined what "morality" is in trading.

Is there such a thing? Or is it dog eat dog, or dog take advantage of dog, or what? Or is it just the best man/woman wins the game? I don't know I am just asking.

If a company is "bad" (let's say this one is on fundamentals to pretend) and due to circumstances like low floats, hype, too many shorts, dumb newbies--- is it "okay" and appropriate to be rather gleeful and giddy to those you actually know are getting their heads and perhaps hearts blown off as shorts? Is it like a male game thing that I don't understand? So therefore ADSP is just a "game" and there are no moral or ethical or spiritual rules to it and to top it off it is even better to rub the "losers" noses in their misfortune when perhaps they are even right about the validity of the company?--as long as you are making a bundle off them? Is that what this is? Is that what we do?--and it is perfectly good to do this and even admirable and a back-slapping congratulations type of thing? Is that what we are proud of? Or am I missing something?

Don't get me wrong. I have gotten into small companies/prices like this. I thought they were undiscovered and had huge potential. I believed in them and got in for that reason mainly. Is that what I am missing here? This is a company you can believe in? Does it matter at all to believe in something or is that not even relevent? Does it all really boil down to beating and beating up the other guy and whoever makes the most money at it is the winner and champion and the best way to fully enjoy the experience is to rub the other bleeding trader's nose in it over and over? Is that what we do to our fellow traders? Is that the morality we appreciate? Is this a male thing I don't understand? Is it alright to do this and I should join in and add insults and injury to my fellow trader otherwise I am missing all the "fun?".

I am just today, the day after thanksgiving, thinking about morality and the market and trading and wondering if there is any of any sort or it is just "no holds barred fighting" without a referee which is what trading is all about?

I would be very interested in differing viewpoints in either direction if it can be done kindly and generously to all because I would like some new thinking and more complete thinking on this......to understand morality, underlying motivations and thinking and values. I have no set opinion-- I am open but I must say I have felt uneasy the last few days reading some of the posts and the ramifications of those posts. And therefore have questioned my "participation" in this type of thing.

Contributions happily accepted.
