Robertson Stephens analyst, L. Singer generally excited about NTEP. In essence he stated:

1. What NETP does, talk about Collaborative Filtering technology. Used the example that if someone calls J.Crew to purchase a blue shirt NETP's technology can make a real time decision about what kind of product sold well with that shirt. It then suggests to the consumer that second product. In Europe sales increased "in high double figures".
(Initially mentioned a 50% sales increase).

2. Licensing of software is merchant specific.

3. Vignette, and Broadvision partnership agreement important. Growth in future related to NETP's ability to integrate into other's platforms rather than a stand alone product. Growth also tied into the possibility of NETP's acquisitions or being acquired.

4. Excellent backers as well as top notch management.

5. Leaders in the Web Personalization market.

6. Target price at $40, but would wait to see if shake out occurred before a target price revision. Noted that both DCLK, and NETP were close to targets. IMO sounded as if both would be raised.

7. New product for a higher echelon customer, Knowledge Management. I believe this is the SONY and Proctor and Gamble deals people have been writing about. (actually P+G was discussed on the CC last month).
