Butch, Don't miss understand HP is'nt going to use Ross's chip. HP is PA Risc and Ross is sparc. The whole investment revolves around the Viper. I personally belive it is in everybody's best interest involved ( fujitsu) , to see the chip finished. I personally think that they need to seperate themself from the system business if they can and go back to what they do best, design semiconductors.
