ASDS- Can you say Cha Ching$$$$$$$ Sony asked dealers in May to stop Internet sales of its products as it reviewed service and support issues, but recently the unit has resumed authorizing dealers for Internet sales, removing restrictions on its televisions, DVD players and camcorders. ASD Systems Inc. played a big part in making Sony's Metreon online store solution come together. ASD was sought out by the architects of the new Metreon center home page , EDS. The solution that the company created for Sony relies, in part, on Microsoft software, thanks in part to the Microsoft CEO himself. "When Bill Gates got interested, it was clear that we were going to build a solution that used Microsoft software," said ASD president Norm Charney.
