LGND went up significantly today on good volume and yet the board is quiet.... Is everyone too stuffed with turkey to comment? I for one can't figure out what is going on. Is it next week's conference? Could it be the long awaited results of the ABC trials? If the results on Targretin and breast cancer comes anywhere close to the results promised by the rodent models, I would expect significantly higher numbers. And if they hit the rodent numbers, a 50% increase wouldn't be unreasonable given the limited side effects of Targretin. Yes, I know about the hypertriglyceridemia issue, but that should be manageable. And I'm quite well aware of the effects of traditional drug treatments. My mother is in the final stages of breast cancer and she's lost about 70 lbs in a little over 6 months as a result of the disease and treatment that is not doing the job. I suppose that is one reason I'm holding on to as much of a position as I am. Thanks, Torben
