I see us slipping to $22-23 in the short term then running to $28 in Dec and $30 with the Q1 release. A little consolidation there and then we run to a high of $40 after Q2. Then the doldrums through the fall, followed by a run back to $40 or better in Dec 00 and on to $60 with Q1 01.

I use a simple valuation to know when CPQ is reaching historically full value (haven't used it recently). It is simply 28x forward 12 months earnings.

P/S says stock should double without growth. Once they improve margins we can expect a double plus some growth so I think $60 by Q1 01 is realistic. It may just be part of a longer ride. Just depends on how much CPQ gets its act together and whether it can not just rule the Internet (MC?) but also get some action in the wireless sector.

But then again... what do I know?
Stuart.
Oh yeah... first half goes at $50 - second half at $60 unless things look very good. But I've said that before...
