Brian: Take the time to read it? What silliness is that.

You apparently haven't read much of it yourself have you? Read the first few books of the bible to find where god tells man that if he finds a virgin and sleeps with her, but then she does not please him, he must pay off the virgin's father. Where I come from that's prostitution. Or if your prefer, don't call it prostitution. Call it what ever you like. Justify that for me will you? So a man can just have sex with a woman and pay off the family? God tells YOU thats ok?

And slavery? You condone such a thing by trying to make it sound godly? What a complete fool you must be. Excuse me, YOU should read some of your bible. You god gave the Isrealites specific laws concerning the slave trade. There is nothing godly about that at all. Explain how a god can be so ungodly?

And please go on further and explain how your god orders the Isrealites to execute any one who "makes his son to pass through the fire (offers him for sacrifice)", and then supposedly send his own son as a sacrifice?

There is nothing more telling of an individual than when they are confronted by attrocities and they excuse them as godly.

Please, before you answer another post, try and read some of that book yourself if you want YOUR comments taken seriously.
