Truedog, I guess calling it a car payment wasn't really the way I should have said it. I didn't have to do it today. I don't have to do it at all! But if someone else does it, it's going to cost a lot of money, and he's aware of that. Some of my friends, and some of his business associates have asked, "When is your husband going to get you a decent car to drive?" My answer is "As long as it's got cold air and runs, it'll do". Because when someone offers the right amount of money for it, it's gone. That goes for the cars he drives as well. Offer him enough money, and it's history! He doesn't even have a personal car of his own. It's not good business. You don't fall in love with cars when you're selling them for a living. He usually drives a different one home every day. When we were dating, the neighbors must have thought that I had a zillion boyfriends, because they saw a different car pull up every day! I've had fancy cars, and they didn't get me where I needed to go any better. Some had a more comfortable ride than others.

But I must admit I would jump and scream for joy, like a 5 year old, if I found a 55 T-Bird convertible with the continental wheel on the back, under my Christmas tree!!! I'll have to start whispering in Bud's ear while he's sleeping.

Anyhow, having a friend like you is better than the biggest, best car there is!!! And I appreciate your thoughtfulness and consideration more than I could ever express.
