John,

Your thoughts are both welcome and interesting. Everyone must buy stock based on his or her own set of rules. If the company breaks those rules, then it's time to sell. I bought shares in PRLN based on three rules and PRLN has not yet broken those rules. My rules for holding this stock are 1)that Travelers remains a major sharholder, 2) they follow through with their plans to ship AndroVir in May, and 3) they don't file for bankruptcy. Until they they break one of these rules, I will continue to hold even if the stock trades all the way down to 1/32. Are these rules valid? Time will be the judge of that. I'm a firm believer that if you make an informed decision on an investment you should see it through. Changing the rules in mid-stream to suit current market conditions and/or sentiment is the surest way to lose money.
