Interesting: NYC suburbs Sprint store experience mirrors Dallas. JGoren, same scene in Port Chester, NY: Samsung 3500 on backorder; sells out within hours of arrival. Sales attendant said it's because it's the phone most seen in Sprint wireless commercials (I don't know that one way or the other). I didn't feel too badly, though, since I pretty much decided to be loyal and go for the Thin. Only bummer: dual mode only comes in black. Store was busy. With the thin in my coat pocket, I'm barely aware of its presence. Trying to convince the wife that she needs the Samsung 3500, so I can borrow it. Slacker, if you're still reading at this point: did you catch who is underwriting the Indian CDMA company's GDR? Holiday greetings, JGoren and all.
