I remembered the shutting down of Fab 25 was mentioned last year so I went through a BUNCH of posts to find out. I finally found this one - Message 6928798 . It is message #43784 for those who can't access the site. If Fab 25 IS open during those two weeks it will produce AT LEAST 10% more processors than it it wasn't open. And it will give the .18 process a chance to further ramp up compared to if it was closed. Let's see, that could be at least 8000 more wafers. "BTW, I'm accepting e-mails or PMs from AMD employees to verify this... <G>" Be sure to tell if you get a final answer.
