Badkarma, I have no problem with you attempting to shed a little enlightenment in my life. I think that you will remember that I asked you to share your beliefs with me, and that I am interested in hearing other people's perspectives. And I think we agree on the fact that if you respect me, I will respect you, as well. The God that I know is loving, patient, compassionate, gentle, understanding, forgiving, and is not involved in politics at all. And the name I call Him is Jesus. I'm not a closed or narrow-minded person. And I also have a problem with "political christians". I'm not being led blindly by what some TV preacher or anyone else has said. I have a very personal and strong Spiritual connection with Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit helps guide me and gives me wisdom and knowledge to know what I should and shouldn't do, when I'm paying attention. When I'm not paying attention because of various distractions, it usually doesn't take very long before I've made a frantic mess of things. And I run into the Loving arms of Jesus, who is always faithful and patiently waiting to comfort His problem child, and wipe away the tears and hurts. While I'm crying and kicking myself for being so stupid, my Loving Father lets me know, it's OK, I'm learning, I'm growing. And I have peace. It's a Spiritual thing. If people don't believe me, it doesn't matter. I don't know how else to explain it. No one is telling me to do this, or don't do that. It is a completely Spiritual experience between me and my Loving Father, that I Love with all my heart, and need more than the breath in my body.
