TLC: Well, my wife thinks I have been taking a break from trading over the Thanksgiving weekend, but I have been trading, just a little and almost completely refrained from posting on SI. <g> I do need a break, but it is hard to pass up the opportunities presented, when the market is this volatile.
ADSP was one of only two positions I took Wednesday. It was strictly a long momentum play. Actually I got in early Wednesday at 7 to 7 1/8 and sold all but 1K shares on the first run up to 13 plus a little above 12. I was going to sell my remaining shares before the close to be flat in my trading portfolios for the remainder of the holiday weekend. However, I decided to check to see if SI had a ADSP thread and see what the "scuttlebut" was on the thread. Of course, I begin to read the trash and bash going on by Anthony and groupies.
The trash and bash campaign that was under way had to be the strongest I have seen Anthony and groupies subject a stock thread on SI to in a long time. (Of course we all knew, that was the reason A@P wanted back on SI in the first place. He needed the public forum to support his positions when necessary.)
Anyway, since Anthony and groupies are often early to the party, I decided to keep my remaining shares. However, I did not expect this much of a holiday gift. <gg>
This stock is not worth the valuation, but how many of these internut and hi-tech issues are? Anyone "gambling" in these momentum plays should know the risk or they have no business making the plays.
As always, the excuse for the trash and bash is the supposed noble cause to save Ma and Pa investor from the evil "scamsters". Of course, anyone with half a brain knows it is about bashing the stock down to make money for the shorters. To state otherwise is just disingenuous.
I think pumping and dumping a stock is wrong, but just as wrong is trashing and bashing. Folks that loose participating in either deserve no sympathy.
