- Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) N/N $27: We believe Dell Computer (DELL) B/B$41 1/4 will announce, within the next 60 days, that it will use AMD's high-end Athlon microprocessors in its OptiPlex or Dimension PC lines.- Dell is the only top 10 PC manufacturer that does not use any of AMD'smicroprocessors.- It appears that Dell still is unable to get enough high-end supply fromIntel.- While AMD is already selling everything it can manufacture, we believe such an announcement could give the stock a psychological boost.
