John, You make excellent points, but IMO the most important point is (0) Do you belive in the product (or service) the company is selling.
After that, your points follow (to paraphrase) (1) do other (preferrible expert investors) like them too and (2) can they make/distribute/sell their product (3) in a profitable and timely manner.

PRLN can achieve all of your criteria, without satisfying my criteria (0).

P.S. I'm not exactly sure, but I thing the book value for PRLN is around 1/2, so down to 1/32 would probably not happen since they have no debt.
