Hello PJ,

So it's interesting (and a good strategy?) that Novell left things so open as to what exactly a "ZEN" is. I had actually figured that Eric was referring to products and announcements that were as important and successful as ZENworks. But obviously the actual definition appears to be anything that they want to declare as a "ZEN" ...

Ok ... so DirXML might be added to that list ... it appears to have a pretty good following of press and analysts and seems to provide some pretty cool functionality.

How is this different from DirXML? When I had seen the various presentations, this was one-and-the-same as DirXML. Have you seen now that they are going to sell this separately? Has this product now been divided into two products to count as two?

Oooooo ... ouch. Yeah ... I guess that you could throw this into the mix, but then I think you're getting desperate! ;-) This is the reason that I get Windows errors every time that I load NWAdmin? (The NDPS snap-in .DLL can't be found ...)

I'd hate to see that Novell will count "evolutionary" steps of the products as ZENs ... it's a cop out. Pretty soon they'll start announcing that service packs are ZENs ... ;-)
