W-CDMA

I am pretty heavily invested in Qualcomm but there remains this nagging question regardingW-CDMA. Everyone on the thread seems confident that Q will receive rayalties but there seem to be several analysts and other doubters that claim that W-CDMA will be beyond Q's control and that other companies will find ways around Q's patterns.

Does anyone know if Irwin or anyone else of authority at Qualcomm has addressed this issue directly. If so, is it in writing and is the document accessible to us? I am beginning to fear that unless Q responds to these concerns then the critics may be correct.

Thanks,

Len
