Aus and Thread:

Interesting article in the new issue of BARRON'S may explain some of the volatility in SNDK shares recently. Seems that a portfolio manager has been shorting some of the stocks owned by Seagate on the assumption that Seagate's price is too low, while the shares Seagate is holding, including its holdings in stocks like SNDK, may be too high. It reminds me of a type of arbitrage and may help explain why SNDK shares go up or down regardless of any particular corporate news items.
