Small Potatoes = VERY Cost Sensitive

I have a very small pocketbook, but I would like to have a "potentially" new technology stock in my holdings. This unfortunately limits me to small dollar stocks like VLNC. The purchase price also makes a significant difference for me, whether I buy 300 shares at $7 or 200 share at $10.

I know long term, IF this stock can perform and goes to 100, then the delta between 7 and 10 is a blip on a chart BUT for me the blip is large due to my small resources. Wish I was more affluent but am not. Of course, even if I was, this would still represent a ~50% delta (300x100 = 30K vs 200 x100 = 20K; 30K is 50% more than 20K) which is big in anyones book.

But I do thank you for response, even though it didn't address any of my questions.
