DD, you have to continuously change and adapt your trading style to meet the market conditions. I've been mostly a hold 'em type, but when the market is boosting stocks up as fast as you can buy in, it's not easy to turn your head away. Thanks to the run over the last couple of weeks, I have more money to buy hold 'em stocks, or what I'm more familiar with and comfortable doing. Yahoo is excellent for looking over mutual funds. They provide Morningstar ratings, mutual fund performance charts, turnover ratio, portfolio sector weighting and the funds largest holdings and more. One thing that I noticed is that it's hard to find funds that do not include CISCO, DELL, MSFT etc. ...even if they're labeled as Undiscovered Value Funds. LOL I'll let you know what I end up picking for a biotech fund...and we're always interested in your Dad's picks. :-) Hope he's doing well DD and is on schedule on his recuperation and travel plans.
