TONIGHT in AUSTIN at ANTONES.....Chris Duarte!!! The absolute meanest MOFO of an electric guitar player you have ever witnessed live. Anyone want to go? I know I'm treading on sacred ground by saying this but it has never stopped me before. Chris Duarte makes SRV look like a novice. Strong statement but I truly believe it and always have. A few years back Eddie Van Halen was asked in an interview in "Guitar Player" magazine "What is it like to be the best guitar player in the world?" His reply,"I don't know. You'll have to ask Chris Duarte." Of course no one knew who he was except for people from Austin and San Antonio. We all freaked out when we heard what Eddie had said. I've taken numerous people to see him over the years and all I can say is NO one gets out alive!! Never have I heard anything but raves followed by "Does he have any CDs out?" The answer is yes, he does. I recommend "Tailspin Headwhack". It rocks. fly.hiwaay.net
