Wow, these horror stories are awful! I had brought my copy of Quicken 2000 (also supplied by Travellers for the Quicken Card download issue) with me on vacation to install on my laptop. I made backups out the wazoo of my file first, because I assumed (correctly, as it turns out) that the application would want to convert the Quicken99 file to a new format that would not be Q99 readable. (Fair warning to those who haven't upgraded yet! Use the File Operations: Copy option, NOT the Backup option - some of your online settings might get hosed when you Restore!)

The temporary PIN I got worked flawlessly, and I was able to change it to one of my liking immediately.

I was very relieved, to say the least. I also note that the temporary PIN I got was not the last 4 digits of my SSN, as Brooks' was.

As for Q2K, I like the interface changes, and it seems to run a bit faster than Q99 on the same machine.

Also, looks like CheckFree Classic is completely unavailable to new customers now, even those that use a financial intstitution "not on the list". It is the end of an era.
