What they are contemplating now is a tracking stock IPO of around $10B, followed by a distribution of the remaining tracking stock to current T shareholders. There is no spinoff involved

So is this type of move dilutive to current shareholders, will the price off parent ATT fall? I don't really understand. You mean all you have to do is peel off a division and presto, 10 bil$ in the coffer. Issuing tracking stock isn't the same as selling the business is it?
