ctc, i'm sure dell issued a several hundred million dollar (500?) offering. it wasn't within 8 months, though. i'm sure others can confirm this. would it change your view on dell? increasing shareholder equity and earnings is good. if used appropriately, stock purchase plans are great - though one could argue that if investing in stock is a better use of cash than building the business... one should be concerned... now, let's talk about the other 99.99% of companies ;-)
