Well Colleen,
Today was the wedding of my daughter,
1. she was told of God's great sacrifice and His Love for us in the giving of His Son, and that is how she and her husband should be able to treat one another...
2. We blessed them by getting to sing "The Lord Bless You and Keep You" (with 8 fold amen) to them as they were introduced.
3. They were and are undergoing Pre-marital counseling in the Lord's church
4. Two very dear friends sang a duet of "From This Moment On" with a guitarist providing background that was fantastic!
5. Years ago my daughter and myself used to go skating, and our favorite song was "Time after time" by Cydni Lauper no less ,:o) and my wife had found a CD at the store with that on it, and as a surprise had us both go center stage, put that on and we danced(with my lungs,, dance is more of a shuffle,ha) with her big baby blue eyes staring at me, it reminded me of the day I was privileged enough to baptize her. Precious Memories, how they linger!!!
6. All our brothers and sisters in blood and in Christ, helped decorate, sang, played instruments, served, propped us up, gave honor to us and my daughter and husband, ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!!!
So this is to Him!!
