I think you and Bob should re-negotiate exactly what each
other would like.
As an Internet Consultant, I can understand all concerns but
quoted text with a reference to the URL is king.
As you can see in his request to you to stop he managed to
get his URL in.

The opening page has 4 advertisers.

So, Bob just got how many referrals from that post to you?

I think getting snippets from these kind of pages is good
for all. I don't have time to read his page daily and if
you Chuca found something good and included the URL to where
I could go and read all the story then it would almost be
worth paying you for the plug.
I think you are a great source for Bob and his advertisers
and again I think the two of you should reconsider.

Chuca, if you did NOT include his URL when posting
shame on you. But that should have been perhaps a
private message to you from Bob asking for the referral IMO

Bob's slightly accusation post to you has NOT changed my
view of you and don't let it think others now feel different
about you neither.
In fact,
it might have put some off from going to his site......
