Reg- I've been using Win2000 RC2 for a month and it's the
best Internet browsing Operating System I've run. I don't
know if that performance carries over to a programmers development
platform because I don't have any time to waste developing on that platform.

Even as a high quality product I don't believe Win2000 will have much of an impact on Microsoft's 2000 earnings. The battle of 2000 will be on the low end and it is my opinion that this time next year non Windows units will match Windows units in sales.

My main investment is in a $20 Million cap, zero sales company that I think will sell 2 million $299. non Windows retail units next year. That's the kind of explosive growth I'm talking about.

Microsoft will have its usual sales and profit growth in 2000.
So did IBM in 1992 just before it began its swan dive.
Both have/had mature products with increasing unit sales. Both
have/had failed to invest in the future products the market requires.
