I know why they want it, but to play devils advocate, Perhaps Hyper TV should have a paragraph explaining to would be plug in downloaders why they are requesting the info.
may be early now, but dont forget, eventually key data about the users of HyperTv will be pertinant if you want the ability to have Fed X, UPS, or Express mail deliver that product you just ordered on the HyperTv website with one click of your mouse.
For one click e-commerce, you will need to register your ship to adress and billing info somewhere.
Again, this registration process is just preliminary, ultimatley, users like yourself, or users who dont understand as much as us would prefer
