Turn Around Management
John Harris, Chief Executive Officer, started and managed CompuNet Support Systems Inc., one of Dallas' fastest-growing networking and systems integration companies. Mr. Harris was instrumental in moving CompuNet from a $100,000 company to more than a $5 million company in 1997. During his tenure as president and CEO of CompuNet, the company also won numerous awards, including being named one of the "Dallas 100" by The CEO Institute and The Caruth Institute for Owner-Managed Business at Southern Methodist University three years in a row. Most recently, Mr. Harris has been serving as president of Paragon Innovations Inc., a privately held company that provides embedded systems and design.
Greg Allen Chief Financial and Accounting Officer and Treasurer, began in the Internet business in mid-1995 by founding TopherNet, an Internet Service Provider company in the Dallas, Texas area. In addition to being an ISP, TopherNet provided consulting and network integration services to its clients. In early 1998, Mr. Allen merged TopherNet with another Web programming and hosting company in the Dallas area to form Reliance Technologies. Reliance Technologies provides high-end Web site and E-commerce development for its clients. Prior to the past few years, Mr. Allen brings more than 15 years of high-tech experience to CBQ, with over 8 years of that time in management.
After graduating from Texas A&M University, Mr. Allen worked at E-Systems, now a division of Raytheon, as an electronics engineer then as a software engineer developing airborne signal processing systems. Advancing his career, Mr. Allen left E-Systems to become as a lead system architect for BancTec, designing document image processing applications for the OSA ImageFirst platform used by financial institutions for processing payments. Upon leaving BancTec, Mr. Allen became a software manager for Canmax Retail Systems, developing remote store management software for the C-Store industry.
Barbara Riehl, the newly appointed President of Priority One, has been a central figure and motivating force with Priority One for 3 years. She began her employment as an administration assistant to Vice President Mary Ellen White. After refining her skills, she advanced to the position of Vice President of Operations. Steadfast, she has dynamically assisted in overseeing the transformation of Priority One. Now as President she is quite prepared and capable to guide the company in its e-commerce expansion plus exert her influence on future potential developments. Ms. Riehl is determined to mature the e-commerce direction to build the company. Assisting her, she is recruiting the right people who have a track record of getting things done! At all cost she will strive not to be complacent as previous management but instead motivate her team to being extremely aggressive. Since taking over she and her team are presently submitting additional bids and entering into negotiations for future EFTs (Electronic Fund Transfers). Moving ever forward in this newest alliance/JV with Orion, as of Thursday September 2, 1999, Orion began processing credit cards and EFTs plus updating the files to establish the compatibly with all systems. At the present time, she is evaluating the select market for Priority One?s collection processes.
Mr. Richard Schwartz, the new Vice President of Sales, has an impressive track record in sales for over thirty (30) years. Where twenty-two (22) of those years has been in executive positions. He is extremely cognizant in regards to establishing an excellent sales team with positive results. Another proven ability is successfully developing target market programs. Presently, he is in the process of developing an aggressive sales campaign to target large commercial accounts for EFTs and products for the bid4it auction site. Also, Mr. Schwartz is aggressively identifying goals and evaluating account needs, designing appropriate demonstrations, preparing presentations for delivery to customers, planning and customizing complex quotations along with proposal information and establishing seminars for group related presentations. Next month, Mr. Schwartz will be representing CBQ Inc. at two select e-commerce related and other business trade shows, of which, he will be in Orlando, Florida October 4th-7th and Dallas, Texas October 19th-21th. |
