Skeeter, <The Splitting Hairs Award - To the performance crazed PC vendors (and their codependents in 3D gaming and graphics design) who tout the real world advantage of a 600MHz Pentium III desktop with a 133 MHz system bus and RDRAM over a substantially cheaper one with 100 MHZ bus and SDRAM. You go on without us.>

And to think that comparing a 733 MHz Pentium III over a substantially cheaper 600 MHz version ISN'T considered splitting hairs. What can YOU do on a 733 MHz processor that you can't do on a 600 MHz version?

Come on, Skeeter. If someone wasn't pushing the bleeding edge of technology, we'd still be mucking around with old 486 systems. Remember when people were wondering whether anyone would ever need the power of a Pentium?

It's the bleeding edge of today that becomes the mainstream of tomorrow.
