Hmmmm....this QCOM and WIND rumbling is interesting. I own both stocks. You're right, if anything Q announces intent to uses VxWorks in future chips. A merger/buyout doesn't make business sense at this point. However, Q will eventually be seeking to add talented embedded SW Engineers, know any in the East Bay?

Back to reality, your statement about the CDMA wave being tiny compared to embedded wave is very intriguing. I had to think about that one. I suppose the CDMA wave is a subset of the embedded wave, but using the word tiny doesn't do CDMA justice. CDMA Mobile devices that access the Internet will become a major piece of the embedded pie in terms of revenue generated within the next decade.
