I was out of touch with this thread for several weeks earlier this month (2nd through 17th) and upon returning I did not completely catch up this thread. I consequently had never seen one of your posts prior to # 11294 this morning. That post upon closer examination seems to exhibit a blatant gender and age bias.

In subsequent posts today you have pointed out that the post was prompted by, and related to, Group Think relative to Investment Decisions? I went back to read the original post and I find it hard to make the leap from what you posted to "Group Think".

After some back tracking I gather that your original post of this morning is somehow related to the emotional resignations of Jill & Poet from this thread, which again I am sorry to say, I missed, while being off thread for a few weeks.

In your morning post you stated:

Well-educated women are entitled to post where they please, but any women or men (post-boomer, boomer, pre-boomer) are cordially invited to contribute to this ongoing and somewhat focused discussion.

Frank, as thread founder, tries very hard to keep discussions On Topic. That is not always an easy role, but I for one appreciate this effort.

I am sincerely hopeful your suggestion "that posters quit posting because this thread has become like a club of the 'good old boys'", is not heeded by other posters or potential posters regardless of age or gender.

The weekends about over. Lets get back to chasing Gorillas.
