John R., For some reason CUBE remains for most an unfathomable mystery, but HLIT is( or will be) something to behold...................Value Line............from Yahoo.......
They just started less than a week ago and gave them a 1 right off the bat with a three year target of 155. Value line is ultra conservative in their price targets so that 155 is actually very bullish. For instance they have a 105 target on Nokia, and a 160 target on JDSU. Both blown away many weeks ago. They say and I quote, "Harmonic, a newcomer to the Value Line Investment Survey, has emerged as a key fiber optic transmission gear supplier." and said about the divicom buyout, "This addition will enable Harmonic to cover the entire spectrum of broadband providers with a complete line of products. We feel the merger, expected to close by March, will be slightly accretive (by 1c) to 2000 share net. This merger also offers excellent cross selling synergies in light of the fact that both companies have no customer overlap." and finally, "These timely but risky shares possess excellent 3 to 5 year capital appreciation prospects."

What's that old Dire Straits tune..........
"Money for HLit, get your CUBE for free."
I'm buy'n in. Simple math says the ROI is better for CUBE? 150 gives us over 75 for our Hlit shares + the CUBE spin off $$ and appreciation gives an easy double over 3 yrs. Or buy HLIT at less than 70 for an easy double over 3 years? Any thoughts out there. FredE, what you gonna do?
Buy CUBE?
Buy HLIT?
B4 the crowds arrive.
When the GLBX FRO merger was uncertain bought both. FRO was the far better return. Will it be the same here?
