Dan3 - <C'mon, Elmer, the new cache wasn't. It was supposed to be part of the willamette/foster performance boost. Wasn't coppermine supposed to be a straight shrink?>

Nope. The designers of the low latency Coppermine cache have nary a thing to do with Willamette. This project was Coppermine all the way.

<Somebody did a great job taking the front end from willamette/foster and grafting it onto coppermine in record time. But I'm not expecting as much of a jump from willamette/foster as before, and I suspect you aren't either.>

Wrong. You are way out on a limb on this one. The cache has been in the works for quite some time, for Coppermine. Your assertions are utter speculation, and your assertions are no where near the truth.
