Teltran Details Largest Contract in Company History
--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 1999--
Teltran International (OTC BB: TLTG.OB) is delighted to announce the completion of the largest contract in the company's history. It has reached agreement with Norweb Telecom and Collier Ensign to run VoIP services with traffic originating through its ChannelNet hub in the United Kingdom and terminating at various locations throughout the world. Traffic is scheduled to begin in the month of December.

The contract calls for 3.5 million minutes per month in the first 90 days, rising to 5 million minutes per month after the 90 day ramp-up period is completed. Once full capacity has been reached, annual revenues will be in excess of 35 million dollars.

This agreement is the first in a series of initiatives between Norweb and Teltran which will greatly expand Teltran's VoIP presence in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. "We are extremely pleased to be able to announce this milestone event in the company's history and we anticipate that our strategic alliance with Norweb will continue to produce additional agreements of this nature. We are also in the final stages of negotiations with several other companies and we expect to be able to announce additional contracts of this magnitude within the next 30 to 60 days," said Teltran President & CEO Byron R. Lerner. "1999 has been a very gratifying year for Teltran and its shareholders and we feel very confident of our future as we move toward the new millenium," added Lerner.
