Another interesting situation. Crystallex -KRY on Amex and in Canada. Heaps of controversy here. Fell from over $5 to around 3/8. Currently around 3/4-7/8. Has reported three quarters of profits for C$0.13 cents, has a good chance to make C$0.20 cents for the year. Owns the San Grigorio Mine in Uruguay which KRY purchased last year from Rea which was broke. With planned upgrades for 2000 my opinion is that KRY has a good shot at increasing EPS to C$0.30-40 Cents in 2000. Also has a good shot at increasing reserves (my opinion).

In Venz. is locked in a legal dispute with Placer Dome over the 16M oz. Las Cristinas deposit. New Mining law has come into force which requires all mining property developers to hold a registered concession (and register by Dec. 28, 1999). KRY holds the registered concession and PDG holds a work contract with a Venz. Govt. JV partner. The market had written off KRY's interest in this property BUT the new law has very interesting ramifications. Be very careful with this one, as many people have already burned on previous moves BUT EPS give KRY some solid underpinning, any movement towards KRY's confirming legal interest in Las Cristinas will see the stock jump all over the page. Disclaimer- hold some stock in KRY, not associated with any other interests, do your own due diligence and only risk your gambling money. Should be an interesting ride.
