Well. Madeline certainly is an objective reporter. She can't lay any wrong doings at the feet of Talisman, but at least she can fill the rest of the page with other examples perpetrated by other people.
That way, if the whole page stinks, then Talisman must also, right?
Years ago, when Lyndon Johnson was running for the Texas senate, he told his campaign manager to start a rumor that his opponent had a fondness for barnyard animals. "Geez, Lyndon," said his manager, "We'll never make him admit to being a pig f**ker." "I don't want to make him admit to it," said Lyndon, "I want to make the sumbitch deny it."
Not saying that Talisman is without sin - but I haven't seen anything more than mudslinging so far.
