Let me postulate an alternative theory. That one who thinks he is at a higher level than those about him chooses to go through life as an obnoxious pest. He may indeed be very bright in his own field but those he jostles may be equally bright in theirs, although our subject would have no comprehension of this as he lacks any social awareness. Now you, and other rational geniuses operating at a higer intellectual level, may feel the social graces, like common decency and polite conversation, are well beneath you. But I must tell you that a thread with a name like "Let's Talk about our Feelings" does not readily convert itself to "Let's Annoy People Until I Can Judge Those Who Are Almost Worthy of ME(the sub-heading of the Galt thread, I believe)." A person of such massive intellect would be able to discriminate more adroitly, yes? Thus my query to Janice.
