I/ITSEC (Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference) is a major event for the modeling, simulation and imaging industry, running from November 29 through December 2, 1999 at the Orange County Convention Center.

(booth No.955) to show a powerful mission-planning fly-through modeling and imaging application in a IRIX/NT networked environment, using imaging data delivered from Ciprico's high-bandwidth FibreSTORE RAID System. Ciprico also teams up with SGI in a ``Space-to-Face' demonstration to show a powerful Geospatial Imaging database application running on an SGI Onyx2 Infinite Reality with Ciprico's FibreSTORE RAID System. This demonstration visualizes the earth from space, and then moves closer down into more and more detailed earth imagery, all generated from satellite data stored on the FibreSTORE RAID System. The demo shows how FibreSTORE's performance allows the system to display this complex imagery in a more realistic manner, with smooth transitions between resolution changes.
