Yo_REH..................I was rumbling through the SI archives and came across this thread started by you in 1998. I have not seen any post from you on the old "Eagle - Penguin" thread, so I will assume that you are probably turned off that thread by all the "SEA GULLS" the same as myself and I would guess a lot of the other long time RAMBUS BULLS. If this message to you opens up this old thread, I would like to use it to post relevant discussion about RAMBUS, if that is O K with you. It may be possible to get some of the other old time followers to come to this thread also, if for no other reason than to escape the "SEA GULLS"!
The originator of the "Eagle - Penguin" thread does not like anyone to post to the original post (post number "0"), because he doesn't follow RMBS any more. He always comes back with a negative post as a reply hoping that will stop others from posting to the original post "0". If this would also bother you if this thread was to be re-opened, I would respect your wishes by not trying to get this thread re-opened.
I am long Rambus since its IPO, and I feel that now is the very beginning of what I hope to be a long climb higher into more and more product wins other than computers. Computer usage is, of coarse, KEY to getting RAMBUS accepted by both the manufacturers, and the public, and now that the INTEL comdex introduction of their long awaited chipsets (820-840) has happened, I believe we will begin to see market penetration of DRDRAM on a large scale!
