I too as you know was short for a very brief period time via a mutual fund. My best decision in 1999 by far was to reverse my short position and go 100% long in tech stocks.
various sayings keep ringing in my head. The one today is they asked Bernard Baruch how he became wealthy. He said I bought too late and sold too soon. People shorting this market have found akin to stepping in the path of a freight train, and I don't plan on reversing my position until I see evidence that the train is slowing down.
