Hi Keith,

thanks for your response, it was very helpful.

I have an investment in CDT. I'm not an expert on the technology so I can't provide a lot of details on where they stand but they have been making a lot of progress on picture quality, colors etc. The Sep 27 issue of Electronic Times had a blurb on its cover announcing that Seiko Epson and CDT would 'describe the technology used to make their full-colour light emitting polymer (LEP) display at this year's International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) in Washington DC' this December. The blurb mentions ' the researchers have combined active matrix thin-film transistor technology, LEPs and inkjet deposition of colour filters'. So we may have some interesting news on CDT in the coming weeks.

I have no specific info on an IPO but I believe they have an interest to come public as soon as feasible (who doesn't? -g-).

I hadn't heard of Universal Display until you mentioned them. I will look into it further. It does appear that they are potential competitors. That wouldn't worry me however. The market potential is truly huge and there is room for more than one winner. I'll be interested in finding out more about Universal's technology direction.

Henry
