CWEI closed @ 11 7/8, unchanged, Bid 11 5/8 x Ask 11 7/8...Vol..70.9K

An interesting trading day--despite the fact that almost all of the heavy volume appeared to be sells, the Bid and Ask did not change; and there were a few buys that came in at the end of the day so that we closed unchanged. I remember back when the third quarter earnings announcement came out, and because of the way it was phrased, the price of the stock dropped to 11 5/8 but managed to hold at that point before beginning a long run up; I am hoping 11 5/8 is a good point of resistance and that we have seen the bottom of this downward trend. Oil has been moving up over the last few days and is now at $2.07, the price had been in the $1.90s since mid-February.

Oil $19.42, +0.07, (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996)
Natural Gas, $2.07, +0.07 (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)

CWEI receives a premium for the liquids in its natural gas, on top of
the stated priced.
