Phone.com Licenses Microbrowser To
Hyundai Electronics

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Phone.com Inc. licensed its
WAP-compatible microbrowser to Hyundai Electronics Industries Co.
(Q.HEL) for use in CDMA phones.

In a press release Monday, Phone.com said Hyundai Electronics plans to
ship wireless telephones with the UP.Browser within 30 days in the
Korean market. A similar Hyundai Electronics phone will be available on
the U.S. market in January.

Phone.com, which had revenue of $13.4 million for the year ended June
30, provides Internet-based software and services for wireless telephones.
